spicy sausage & bean soup
(2 RATINGS)
We dediced to do soup and sandwiches one year after my grandmother got up in years and we didn't want her cooking so much for holidays. My cousin brought this soup and I really liked it. It's a good change from chili or chicken noodle. It's loaded with flavor but also light on your stomach.

How To Make spicy sausage & bean soup
-
Step 1In a large soup pot, cook the sausage, onion & garlic in oil for 5-6 minutes till no longer pink, stirring frequently to break up the meat.
-
Step 2Add the remaining ingredients and bring to a boil. Reduce to medium-low and simmer uncovered 30 minutes.
-
Step 3I like this soup spicy, if you prefer mild sausage or even turkey sausage, experiment & make it yours.
