my daughter actually came up with this recipe. It's very tastey and filling.Tired of tradational potato soup ? Give this a try.

4 cups potatoes , peeled & cubed
1 pound ground beef ,browned
1 small onion , chopped
3 cans tomato sauce or 1 quart tomato juice
2 teaspoons salt
1 1/2 teaspoons black pepper
1 1/2 teaspoons louisianne hot sauce

How To Make spicey potato soup

Step 1

brown ground beef in skillet , add onion and let it saute with meat. when meat is no longer pink ..drain and transfer to stock pot.add rest of ingredients and cook oveer medium heat or about 20 mins. or until potatoes are soft but not mushy. Dip into bowls and enjoy.
