growin up in northern michigan ya hadda know how to make soups cuz the winters are so long and hard and soup is jus so great to have on the long winter days[and nights].... my mom made this i've just changed a few things..but is still same basic recipe...u can tell it came from mom too cuz of the amounts it uses lol

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 pounds ground beef
  • 1/2 pound pork sausage, mild
  • 3 jars fav spag sauce
  • 2 large onions,chopped
  • 3 large ribs celery with leaves,chopped
  • 1 1/2 cups mixed colored bell peppers,chopped
  • 1 1/2 pounds botton mushrooms,sliced
  • 1 pound spaghetti
  • - grated parm cheese

How To Make spag and meat sauce soup

  • Step 1
    in lg stock pot cook meats til cooked 5-8 min then add veggies stir well to coat with grease cook a few min add spag sauce bring to boil turn as low as u can cook all afternoon stirrin often bout 45 min before servin add spag that has been broken into small bite size pieces cook til spag tender if souyp gets to thick add small amount of water

    to serve put in soup bowl sprinkle with parm cheese...... enjoy..... as always great with garlic bread!!!!
