this is a dish my great grandmother used to fix for us it is very good with the dumplings in the beef stew

Ingredients

  • 1 pound beef stew meat, cubed
  • 1 package liptons onion soup mix
  • 6 cups hot water
  • 2 - carrots, peeled and shredded
  • 1 - celery stalk, finely chopped
  • 1 - tomato, peeled and chopped
  • 1 cup biscuit mix
  • 1 tablespoon finely chopped parsley
  • 6 tablespoons milk

How To Make slow cooker beef dumpling soup

  • Step 1
    in slow cooker, sprinkle beef with dry onion mix.
  • Step 2
    pour hot water over meat. stir in carrots, celery and tomato.
  • Step 3
    cover and cook on low 4-6 hours or until meat is tender.
  • Step 4
    turn control to high. in a small bowl, combine biscuit mix with parsley.
  • Step 5
    stir in milk with fork until mixture is moistened.
  • Step 6
    drop dumpling mixture into slow cooker with a teaspoon.
  • Step 7
    cover and cook on high for 30 minutes.
