- 1 1/2 pounds beef stew meat
- 1 - onion, chopped
- 4 - carrots, sliced
- 2 - celery stalks, sliced
- 4 - potatoes, diced
- 28 ounces tomatoes, canned
- 2 teaspoons quick cooking tapioca
- 10 1/2 ounces beef broth
- 1 teaspoon worcestershire sauce
- 2 teaspoons parsley flakes
- 1 - bay leaf
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper

Step 1Brown beef cubes; drain. Put into a slow cooker and add remaining ingredients, stirring to blend. Cover and cook on low for 8-10 hours.
