  • 2 lb
    beef stew meat, cut into 1 inch cubes
  • 1/4 c
  • 1 tsp
  • 1/2 tsp
  • 1
    bay leaf
  • 1
    garlic clove
  • 3
    potatoes, diced
  • 1
    stalk celery, sliced
  • 2
    onions, coarsely chopped
  • 1 tsp
    soy sauce
  • 12 oz
    beef stock

How to Make Savory Crockpot Stew


  1. Stir mixture of flour, paprika and pepper to coat meat in a slow cooker.
  2. Stir in other ingredients and mix well.
  3. Cover and cook on high heat for 4 to 6 hours, or on medium heat for 6 to 8 hours, or on low heat for 10 to 12 hours.
  4. Remove garlic glove and bay leaf before serving.
