Provencal Beef Stew

beef stew meat
4 slice
bacon, cut into 1 inch pieces
18 oz
brown gravy
1 can(s)
tomatoes, peeled, diced, 14 1/2 ounces with juice
1 tsp
dried thyme
1/2 tsp
1/4 tsp
1 lb
baby carrots
new red potatoes, quartered
2 small
onions, cut into eighths
8 oz
fresh whole mushrooms


1In medium skillet over med-high heat, cook beef and bacon until beef is browned; drain.
2In 3-1/2 to 4 quart crockpot combine gravy, tomatoes, thyme, salt and pepper.
3Add beef, bacon and remaining ingredients; stir gently to combine.
4Cover; cook on low for 8 to 10 hours or until meat and veggies are tender.
