Ingredients
- 1 pound stew beef
- 1 - medium potato, peeled and thickly sliced
- 4 - carrots, peeled and chunked
- 1 package dry onion soup mix
- 6 ounces tomato paste
- 6 ounces water
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon seasoned salt
- 1/4 teaspoon dry mustard
- 1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon bacon bits
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 4 cups water
- 1 can peas with juice
How To Make new hampshire stew

Step 1Place beef in bottom of 6-8 quart crockpot or slow cooker.

Step 2Cover with potatoes and carrots.

Step 3In medium large saucepan, place all remaining ingredients (except peas) and simmer until bubbly.

Step 4Remove from heat and pour over meat and vgetables.

Step 5Cover and cook on high heat approximately 8 hours.

Step 6Add more water if necessary.

Step 7Add peas before serving.

Step 8Do not thicken.
