Ingredients
- 1/2 pound mushrooms, sliced and pieces
- 1/2 cup all purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon beef base
- 1/2 tablespoon kitchen bouquet
- 4 cups water
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 large onion, sliced
How To Make mushroom and onion brown gravy

Step 1In a skillet over medium high heat, cook the onions and the mushrooms in 2 tablespoons of butter or pan dripping (grease from meat you are going to put the gravy on) for 2 minutes or until tender.

Step 2Add 2 cups of water and bring to a boil. When the water begin to boil, mix the beef base and stir.

Step 3In a bowl, add 2 cups of hot water and stir flour into. Don't leave any flour clumps. Mix in the kitchen boutique

Step 4Add the mixture in the bowl to the mixture in the skillet that's boiling. Reduce the heat to medium. Cook 4 minutes or more, or until it thickened whisking constantly.
