How to Make Mushroom and Onion Brown Gravy


  • 1In a skillet over medium high heat, cook the onions and the mushrooms in 2 tablespoons of butter or pan dripping (grease from meat you are going to put the gravy on) for 2 minutes or until tender.
  • 2Add 2 cups of water and bring to a boil. When the water begin to boil, mix the beef base and stir.
  • 3In a bowl, add 2 cups of hot water and stir flour into. Don't leave any flour clumps. Mix in the kitchen boutique
  • 4Add the mixture in the bowl to the mixture in the skillet that's boiling. Reduce the heat to medium. Cook 4 minutes or more, or until it thickened whisking constantly.
