My son put this together one night and it turned into a favorite.

Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 package conecuh sausage sliced into bite size pieces.
- 1 32-48 ounces beef broth or stock
- 1 can fire-roasted corn, partially drained
- 1 can fire roasted diced tomatoes
- 1 bag frozen soup starter vegetables
- 2 diced potatoes or can of diced potatoes, drained
- 1 cup dry lentils
- 1 small onion, diced
- salt & pepper to taste
How To Make mike's lentil soup

Step 1Brown hamburger and onion, drain off excise grease.

Step 2Add sliced sausage to pan and potatoes and brown slightly.

Step 3Add everything to stock pot. Bring to a boil, then turn heat down to simmer.

Step 4Cook for 30-45 minutes
