My mother-in-law gave me this recipe it was and still is my husbands favorite, with a nice loaf of home made bread. This soup is also good the day after you make it

Ingredients

  • 32 ounces beef broth
  • 8 cups water, cold
  • 1 - onion halved and sliced
  • 2 pounds ground beef
  • 6 large potatoes, peeled and diced
  • - garlic powder, salt and pepper to taste

How To Make meatball potato soup

  • Step 1
    Combine broth, water, onion, and saeasoning in a soup pot. Bring to a boil over medium high heat; boil until onion is transparent.
  • Step 2
    Form ground beef into small meatballs and drop into soup. Boil until meatballs are cooked through about 35 to 40 minutes.
  • Step 3
    Add potatoes for the last 20 minutes of cooking.
