When I was in Nursing school my husband watched all 4 of our children while I worked at night. He learned that washing a single pot was always easier than two or more. So ultimately he learned to make everything in one pot. Hot Dog Soup became a family favorite of course. My mother in law was trying her best to find out what was in the infamous Hot Dog Soup. When my husband told she just shook her head. I was only in school and working a short time before I got my first dishwasher, and haven't been without one since. To this day when Hot Dog Soup is brought up all 4 of the kids smile and giggle.
