Hearty Buffalo Stew

A simple crock pot recipe. I like to also add potatoes.

Ingredients

  •   2 lb
    buffalo stew meat, 1-inch cubes
  •   5
    carrots, chopped
  •   1 large
    onion, chopped
  •   3 stalk(s)
    celery, sliced
  •   2 lb
    canned tomatoes
  •   1/2 c
    quick cooking tapioca
  •   1/2 tsp
    ground cloves
  •   2
    bay leaves
  •   1 tsp
    salt
  •   1/2 tsp
    pepper

How To Make

  • 1
    Trim all fat from meat. Put all ingredients in slow cooker. Mix thoroughly.
  • 2
    Cover and cook on low for 12 hours (high for 5 to 6 hours).
