Don't know where I got this recipe, but it is very good on a cold winter night. Simple to make and very good!

Ingredients

  • 1 lb
    hamburger
  • 1 box
    hamburger helper beef pasta
  • 6 c
    water
  • 1-2 can(s)
    diced tomatoes (i use the italian style)
  • 2 - 4oz can(s)
    sliced mushrooms
  • 1 large
    onion chopped
  • 6
    beef bouillon cubes
  • 1
    bay leaf
  • 1 pkg
    mixed vegetables

How to Make Hamburger Helper Soup

Step-by-Step

  1. Brown hamburger and onion (drain grease).
  2. Add seasoning mix from Hamburger Helper, water, tomatoes, mushrooms, bouillon cubes and bay leaf.
  3. Simmer on low for 4 hours. Add mixed vegetables and cook until vegetables are tender. Remove bay leaf.
  4. Just before serving, add noodles from Hamburger Helper and cook until done.
  5. Sprinkle parmesan cheese on top of each bowl of soup.
