My mother inlaw gave this recipe to my husband. Now I claim it!

Ingredients

  • 4-5 large potatoes - diced
  • 1 can tomato soup
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 26 ounces beef stock ( i use swanson)
  • 26 ounces water
  • 1 package frozen corn
  • - salt and pepper to taste

How To Make hamburg soup

  • Step 1
    Peel and cut the potatoes into small cubes. In a large pot, put the potato cubes, tomato soup, salt and pepper. Cover with the water. Bring to a boil for about ½ hour. Crumble the uncooked ground beef and drop it by bits into to boiling soup. Reduce heat and let simmer for about one hour. Turn heat back up and add the bag of corn and continue cooking for an additional 15 to 20 minutes. Soups Ready!
