Ingredients

1 tsp
worcestershire sauce
2 Tbsp
butter or margarine
4 c
water
1 lb
canned tomatoes
1/2
bay leaf
1 c
choped onion
1/8 tsp
ground pepper

10 oz. pkg mixed vegetables
1 Tbsp
salt
2
beef bouillon
2
celery stalks
1 c
egg noodles
1/2 tsp
thyme, dried

How to Make Ground Beef Soup

Step-by-Step

  • 1In large saucepan, saute beef and onions until meat is well browned.
  • 2Add water, tomatoes, celery (chopped), salt, bouillon, and bay leaf. Add worcestershire sauce and pepper. Bring to a boil; cover and simmer for 30 minutes. Remove bay leaf!
  • 3Add mixed vegetables, noodles, and thyme.
    Bring to a boil; cover and simmer for 15 minutes.
