Ingredients
- 1 tsp - stick margarine
- 1 - onion,chopped
- 2 1/2 cups - beef broth
- 2 - ounces french bread,cut into two slices and toasted.
- 1/2 cup - shredded mozzarella cheese
How To Make 'french onion soup'

Step 1Preheat broiler. in a med saucepan,melt margarine.Add onion cook, stirring as needed,until softened,about 5 min.Add broth; bring to a boil.Reduce heat and simmer,uncovered,until the onion is very tender.

Step 2Place one slice of toast in each of two flameproof soup bowls;pour soup over toast.sprinkle each with cheese and broil until the cheese is melted and lightly browned. about 1 min .serve at once.
