Ingredients

2 lbround steak, cut into 1 inch cubes

1 can(s)plum tomatoes, coarsely chopped, with juice

1yellow onion, quartered

4carrots, cut into 1 inch pieces

4stalks celery, cut into 1 inch pieces

1green bell pepper, seeded, cut into 1 inch pieces

1/4 cquick cooking tapioca
-
1/2 cfine dried bread crumbs
-
1 lbmedium whole mushrooms
-
1 1/4 tspsalt
-
1/4 tspfreshly ground pepper
-
1 cdry red wine
How to Make Family Stew
- Preheat oven to 300 Or Pull Out Your Fav 4 Qt Crockpot
- Combine all ingredients in a large, lightly sprayed or oiled dutch oven or 4-quart casserole, stirring well to mix.
- Cover and bake for 4 hours; do not uncover while baking. Up To 8 Hours In Slow Cooker
