Ingredients
- 6 cups beef broth
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 2 star anise
- 1 teaspoon whole cloves
- 8 ounces rib eye very thinly sliced
- 8 ounces rice noodles
- 1/2 red onion thinly sliced
- 1/4 cup fish sauce
- 1 tablespoon white soy sauce
- 1 cup bean sprouts
- 6 cloves garlic sliced
- 1/2 cup olive oil
- 12 basil leaves
- 1/2 cup cilantro
How To Make easy rib eye pho

Step 1Add olive oil to a saucepan and place over medium heat. Add the garlic and cook for 6 minutes. Just until the garlic starts to brown but don't let it burn or it will become bitter. Remove the garlic slices and discard. Set the oil aside.

Step 2Cook the rice noodles according to package directions and drain. Set aside

Step 3Place the beef broth in a large pot. Add the cinnamon, star anise and cloves. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer 10 minutes. Strain the broth discarding the solids.

Step 4Add the broth back to pot. Add the rib eye, red onion, fish sauce, and white soy sauce. Cook 4 minutes. Remove from heat. Place the noodles in a bowl. Ladle the broth over the noodles. Top with basil, cilantro and drizzle with garlic oil.
