My husband had this recipe when we got married and thoughout the years I have "doctored it up". We just love it and you can freeze it too. Soup's always better the next day!! Ha Ha!

- 1-2 pound ground chuck
- 2 cans stewed tomatoes
- 1 can corn, kernel
- 1 small can of tomato sauce
- 2 - stalks celery, chopped
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 2-3 medium carrots, chopped
- 2 cans okra, tomatoes and corn
- 3-4 medium potatoes, chopped
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 tablespoon pepper
- pinch garlic powder
- 1 can lima beans
- 3 tablespoons kitchen bouquet
- 3 cans water, (use tomato cans)

Step 1Brown ground chuck; drain.

Step 2Drain almost all the juice off the corn only..the juice makes it too sweet. Add all other ingredients and bring to a boil; let boil about 5 or so minutes; reduce to simmer and let it simmer as long as you want. I usually let it simmer for 2-3 hours, but you can serve it as soon as potatoes and carrots get done. You can also add any other veggies you want to it. Enjoy.
