Easy and Delicious Vegetable Beef Soup

My husband had this recipe when we got married and thoughout the years I have "doctored it up". We just love it and you can freeze it too. Soup's always better the next day!! Ha Ha!

  •   1-2 lb
    ground chuck
  •   2 can(s)
    stewed tomatoes
  •   1 can(s)
    corn, kernel
  •   1 small
    can of tomato sauce
  •   2
    stalks celery, chopped
  •   1 medium
    onion, chopped
  •   2-3 medium
    carrots, chopped
  •   2 can(s)
    okra, tomatoes and corn
  •   3-4 medium
    potatoes, chopped
  •   1 tsp
  •   1/4 Tbsp
  •   pinch
    garlic powder
  •   1 can(s)
    lima beans
  •   3 Tbsp
    kitchen bouquet
  •   3 can(s)
    water, (use tomato cans)

How To Make

    Brown ground chuck; drain.
  • 2
    Drain almost all the juice off the corn only..the juice makes it too sweet. Add all other ingredients and bring to a boil; let boil about 5 or so minutes; reduce to simmer and let it simmer as long as you want. I usually let it simmer for 2-3 hours, but you can serve it as soon as potatoes and carrots get done. You can also add any other veggies you want to it. Enjoy.
