    sweet or hot italian sausage links
  • 4 c
    chicken broth
  • 1 can(s)
    diced tomatoes (italian style)
  • 1 can(s)
    white northern beans
  • 1/2 c
  • Handful
    frozen corn
  • 1 tsp
    italian seasoning
  • 1 to 2 c

How to Make Dave's Italian Sausage Soup


  1. In a deep pan cook Italian sausage and brown on all sides for about 15-20 minutes over medium heat.
  2. Add chicken broth to Italian sausage and cook for about 20 minutes. Take sausage out and slice into chunks then put back into pan.
  3. Add can of tomatoes and water to sausage/broth mixture. Add beans, rice,corn and Italian seasoning and simmer for another 20 minutes.
  4. Sprinkle with parmesan or mozzarella cheese or croutons.
