Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 2 - potatoes, peeled and cubed
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1/2 cup chopped celery
  • 2 tablespoons green pepper, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon beef base
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2.5 cups milk
  • 3 tablespoons flour
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

How To Make cheeseburger chowder

  • Step 1
    In large pot brown beef, drain.
  • Step 2
    Stir in vegetables, base, salt and 1 1/2 cups water.
  • Step 3
    Cover and cook until vegetables are tender. (15-20 minutes)
  • Step 4
    Blend 1/2 cup milk with the flour.
  • Step 5
    Add to saucepan along with remaining milk.
  • Step 6
    Cook and stir until thickened and bubbly.
  • Step 7
    Add cheese.
  • Step 8
    Heat and stir until cheese melts.
