Just started throwing things together in the crock pot one day and this is what I come up with. It's delicious, even better second day.

    stew meat
  • 3
  • 1
    celery stalk
  • 1/2 pkg
    frozen corn
  • 1/2 pkg
    frozen green beans
  • 2
  • 1 pkg
    dry onion soup mix
  • 2
    tomatoes, fresh
  • 2 Tbsp
  • 2
    beef bouillon, cubes
  • 1 can(s)
    beef gravy

How to Make Cathy's Sunday Stew


  1. coat stew meat in flour and fry in a pan until browned
  2. meanwhile, cut up potatoes in bite size pieces, chopped celery fine, cut up carrots in bite size pieces, chop tomato fine. add all to crock pot with enough water to cover.
  3. add browned meat to crock pot.
  4. add bouillon cubes, gravy and soup mix, stir together
  5. add frozen vegetables and stir
  6. turn on low and cook 8-10 hours
  7. Serve over fresh baked biscuits
