Just started throwing things together in the crock pot one day and this is what I come up with. It's delicious, even better second day.

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds stew meat
  • 3 - potatoes
  • 1 - celery stalk
  • 1/2 package frozen corn
  • 1/2 package frozen green beans
  • 2 - carrots
  • 1 package dry onion soup mix
  • 2 - tomatoes, fresh
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 2 - beef bouillon, cubes
  • 1 can beef gravy
  • - biscuits

How To Make cathy's sunday stew

  • Step 1
    coat stew meat in flour and fry in a pan until browned
  • Step 2
    meanwhile, cut up potatoes in bite size pieces, chopped celery fine, cut up carrots in bite size pieces, chop tomato fine. add all to crock pot with enough water to cover.
  • Step 3
    add browned meat to crock pot.
  • Step 4
    add bouillon cubes, gravy and soup mix, stir together
  • Step 5
    add frozen vegetables and stir
  • Step 6
    turn on low and cook 8-10 hours
  • Step 7
    Serve over fresh baked biscuits
