  • 3 lb
    sirloin tips
  • 1 can(s)
    (14.5 ounces) diced tomatoes
  • 1 can(s)
    (10 1/2 oz) condensed beef broth, undiluted
  • 1 c
    mild picante sauce or salsa
  • 1 can(s)
    can whole corn
  • 1 medium
    onion, cut in quarters then sliced
  • 1/2 tsp
    ground cumin
  • 1/2 tsp
  • 1/4 c
    all purpose flour
  • 1/2 c
  • 1 medium
    green squash
  • 1 c
    fresh kale, chopped

How to Make Beef Stew


  1. Cook sirloin in large skillet, until no longer pink
  2. Combine meat, tomatoes, beef broth, picante sauce or salsa, corn, onion, cumin and salt.
    To crock pot
  3. Cook on low for 4-5 hours, or until meat is tender.
  4. Stir together flour and water. Stir flour mixture into stew mixture and cook on HIGH setting 1 hour or until thickened.
