Ingredients

  • 4 cups water
  • 2 packages brown gravy mix
  • 1 pound beef stew meat
  • 1 - chopped onion
  • 1 - chopped tomato
  • 1 cup frozen peas
  • 1 cup carrots, peeled and sliced
  • 1 cup potatoes chopped
  • 1/4 teaspoon basil, dried
  • 1 - bay leaf, crushed
  • - salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

How To Make beef stew

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 350
  • Step 2
    Mix brown gravy mix with water, in a dutch oven with lid.
  • Step 3
    Add the remaining ingredients cover and bake for 1 hour
