- 2 tablespoons chicken base
- 6.5 ounces medium barley
- 3 quarts water
- 1/2 pound ground beef
- 2 tablespoons butter
- - "just a pinch" of salt
- - "just a pinch" of pepper
How To Make beef barley soup

Step 1Saute all vegetables in butter until tender.

Step 2In separate pan, cook beef; drain.

Step 3Add to vegetables.

Step 4Add bases, water and barley.

Step 5Simmer 30 minutes.
