Beef craving a new soup. Decided I wanted to go Asian style! This was fab!

1 Tbsp
coconut oil
1 1/2 lb
bulgogi or bool kogi (same thing, different spelling)
2 c
chicken broth
2 c
5 clove
garlic, sliced
white onion, sliced to 1/16 in. thick
red cabbage, sliced to 1/16 in. thick
1 Tbsp
sesame oil
1/2 tsp
ginger powder
1/2 tsp
chinese five spice powder
frozen mini wontons (aprox. number)

How to Make Asian Beef Soup


  • 1heat coconut oil in large skillet over medium heat. Brown Bulgogi, drain.
  • 2In pot mix together all ingredients. bring to a boil over medium then reduce to simmer.
  • 3Allow to simmer for at least 1 hour but no more than 2.
  • 4Return to boil. Add in frozen mini wontons and cook for additional 2 minutes.
