Alittle on the spicy side. Can always omit either jalapenos or green chili's.

Make sure you have sour cream and tortilla strips on hand to garnish with.

  • 1 Tbsp
    vegetable oil
  • 1
    onion, chopped
  • 3
    cloves garlic, crushed
  • 4 oz
    green chilis, diced
  • 4 oz
    jalapenos, diced
  • 2 tsp
  • 1 tsp
    oregano, dried
  • 1 tsp
  • 29 oz
    chicken broth
  • 3 can(s)
    white beans, canellini
  • 3 c
  • 1 c
    montery jack cheese

How to Make White Chicken Chili


  1. heat oil over medium low heat, stir in chopped onion, cook til tender about 3 minutes. Add garlic, jalapeno, green chili's, cumin, oregano, cayenne. simmer for about 3 minutes. Mix in chicken broth add cooked chicken, and canellini beans (Dont drain) Simmer 25-30 minutes stirring occassionally. Remove from heat top with cheese. I also add a dab of sour cream and tortilla strips to the top. Enjoy!!!!!
