Ingredients
- 2 cans 15 1/2 oz white beans, rinsed and drained (keep separate)
- 2 - carrots, diced
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 1/4 cups water
- 1 1/2 cups ham, cubed(i use left over)
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 - bay leaf (optional)
How To Make white bean soup

Step 1Mash one can of beans, set aside; in a large sauce pan saute the carrots & onions in butter. Stir in the water, ham, seasonings, whole and mashed beans. Cook over medium heat until heated. Discard bay leaf, if used.
