Ingredients

  • 4 cups water
  • 16 ounces package chourico
  • 2 - chicken bouillon cubes
  • 1 - sazon goya (con azafran)
  • 1 can red kidney beans (use the whole can. including the juices)
  • 1 can tomato sauce
  • 2 teaspoons minced garlic
  • 2 teaspoons red wine vinegar
  • 2 - bay leaves

How To Make simple portuguese chourico & bean soup

  • Step 1
    Add water and bouillon cubes to deep pan to make stock.
  • Step 2
    Slice chourico into half inch pieces.
  • Step 3
    Add chourico and remaining ingredients.
  • Step 4
    Bring to a boil, then cover and simmer for an additional 20 minutes.
