This is a recipe I make sometimes when my family and I have a mexican dinner. It is a very filling soup that is super easy and quick to make.

  • 1 can(s)
    31 oz. refried beans low fat
  • 1 can(s)
    14 1/2 oz. chicken broth, low sodium
  • 1 can(s)
    16 oz. of picante sauce, medium flavor
  • 1 pkg
    8 0z. shredded mexican blend cheese

How to Make Refried Bean Soup


  1. In a medium sauce pan, add beans, broth, and picante sauce until well blended.
  2. Stir over medium heat until soup is hot then add in cheese and stir well. Can be served with tortilla chips crushed into soup in place of crackers.
