- 2 tablespoons chopped sweet red pepper
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon seasoned salt
- 2 tablespoons green pepper-chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon ground mustard
- 1/4 teaspoon rubbed sage
- 1/4 teaspoon chili powder
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1 can (16 oz)kidney beans..rinsed and drained

Step 1In a large sauce pan or soup kettle,cook sausage and onion over medium heat,until meat is no longer pink;drain. add next 12 ingredients. Bring to a boil. reduce heat and simmer 45 minutes;stirring occasionally. Add beans and heat through.
