Quick Black Bean Soup

This is so easy. All I had to start with was 5 cans of black beans...and an onion, butter some seasoning and leftover turkey drumsticks from Thanksgiving. So I more or less "threw this together". IMPORTANT: If you are "vegan" then it's important to flavor this soup with chicken bouillon...if Vegans use it...lol...or some sort of seasoning. Be creative. ;D

  •   5 can(s)
    black beans
  •   1 small
    onion, sliced
  •   4 dash(es)
  •   3 Tbsp
  •   3 dash(es)
  •   1/2 lb
    meat (optional) beef, or poultry work best for me, but pork can be used if you like it.

How To Make

    Start by dropping butter in large sauce pan. Melt and saute' the onions until carmelized.

    Add seasoning and black beans. Also add meat if you're not a Vegan.

    Bring to a boil...takes about 10 to 15 minutes...then simmer for 30 minutes. Be sure to frequently stir it and add some water ...about a can...if necessary. Serve with Garlic Breaed...so good. Enjoy!
