Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 rib celery, chopped
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 4 cups chicken stock or broth
- 6 cups green cabbage, thinly sliced
- 8 ounces kielbasa, cut in half lengthwise and then cut into 1/4 inch slices
- 1 can 14.5 oz. can whole tomatoes, drained an chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1/2 teaspoon salt or more to taste
- 1/4 teaspoon fresh ground black pepper
- 1 cup canned white cannellini beans, rinsed and drained
How To Make pressure cooker cabbage, bean & kielbasa soup

Step 1In a 6 qt. pressure cooker, heat the oil over medium heat. Add onion, celery and garlic and stir often until just softened, about 3 minutes.

Step 2Stir in chicken stock or broth, cabbage, sausage, tomatoes, thyme, salt & pepper.

Step 3Bring pressure cooker to pressure and cook 5 minutes. Use quick release to relieve pressure.

Step 4When pressure has been released, open lid and stir in beans and let them cook through. Season with additional salt & pepper to taste.
