Ingredients
- 2 cups dried peas
- 1/2 cup diced ham (or a ham bone)
- 1 - large onion
- 6 cups stock
How To Make pea and ham soup

Step 1Soak the peas as directed on the bag.

Step 2Dice onion and saute in a little oil or pork fat.

Step 3Add peas, stock, and ham bone. Cook until peas are soft, about one hour.

Step 4Remove ham bone and remove meat from bone, chop. Puree peas. Add ham meat. Heat.

Step 5Serve with a little cream or parsley as garnish.
