Pea and Ham Soup
How to Make Pea and Ham Soup
- Soak the peas as directed on the bag.
- Dice onion and saute in a little oil or pork fat.
- Add peas, stock, and ham bone. Cook until peas are soft, about one hour.
- Remove ham bone and remove meat from bone, chop. Puree peas. Add ham meat. Heat.
- Serve with a little cream or parsley as garnish.
