How to Make Pea and Ham Soup

Step-by-Step

  1. Soak the peas as directed on the bag.
  2. Dice onion and saute in a little oil or pork fat.
  3. Add peas, stock, and ham bone. Cook until peas are soft, about one hour.
  4. Remove ham bone and remove meat from bone, chop. Puree peas. Add ham meat. Heat.
  5. Serve with a little cream or parsley as garnish.
