Ingredients

  • 1 pound great northern beans
  • 3 quarts water
  • 1 large diced onion
  • 2 tablespoons kosher salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 pound fully cooked ham, diced

How To Make oven baked bean soup

  • Step 1
    Mix all ingredients in an oven proof dutch oven. Bake at 350 for 6 hours.
  • Step 2
    If the mixture is not thick enough just simmer on stove top and it will thicken up.
