A friend shared this recipe years ago and it's still popular with my friends and family. What's great about it is it takes so few ingredients and can be made in 5 minutes! Love that!

Ingredients
- 64 oz. bottles great northern beans
- 16 oz. bottles picante sauce or salsa
- 8 oz. packages jalapeno pepper jack cheese
- 16 oz. bottles of water (just use the empty picante bottle)
How To Make mexican bean soup in a hurry!

Step 1In large pot or crock pot, dump picante sauce, water, beans and block of cheese that you've cut into cubes.

Step 2Stir until cheese melts and serve! So simple! You can make it milder with just plain pepper jack cheese or hotter with hot salsa.
