Ingredients
- 1 pound smoked sausage, large links, sliced
- 1 pound lentils
- 1/2 cup onions, chopped
- 1/2 cup celery, sliced
- 1/2 cup carrots, sliced
- 5/8 teaspoon garlic salt
- 2 1/2 teaspoons salt
- 1 1/2 teaspoons oregano
- 6 ounces tomato paste
- 8 cups water
- 20 ounces tomatoes, canned
How To Make lentil soup

Step 1Chop and thinly slice vegetables.

Step 2Slice sausage into thin slices.

Step 3Combine all ingredients into large soup pot except for tomatoes. Simmer for 2 hours.

Step 4Add tomatoes and simmer for another 30 minutes.
