Kielbasi is a huge hit with this bean soup. Also Randell's Great Northern Beans in the jar are a must to complete this great soup! I don't drain them, I add everything in the jar to the pot !

Ingredients
- pound 1 to 2 pounds of kielbasi, cut into 1/4 inch slices
- cup 1 1/2 cups chopped onions
- cup 1 cup chopped carrots
- cup 1/2 cup chopped celery
- ounce 1 (49 ounce) can of chicken broth
- bottle 2 large jars of randell's great northern mixed beans
- ounce 1(16ounce) can whole tomatoes, chopped
- - 1 whole bay leaf
- - fresh ground black pepper to taste
How To Make hearty bean soup

Step 1In large skillet,slightly brown kielbasi. Then add onions, carrots, celery cook until tender,stirring occasionally. In Large Stock Pot ,Stir in broth,beans and chopped tomatoes Kielbasi, onions , carrots, celery and bay leaf cover and bring to a boil. Reduce to simmer for 25 to 30 minutes.Or let simmer longer and mash some of the beans with a large spoon to help thicken soup.Add pepper to taste, discard bay leaf. Serve with chunks of fresh crusty bread. Makes about 6 sevings.
