chopped carrots

chopped onion

chopped celery
1/4 c
snipped parsley
bay leaf
1 tsp
1/4 tsp
dried marjoram, crushed
1/8 tsp

meaty ham bone

How to Make Ham – Lentil Soup, Crock Pot Style


  • 1Rinse lentils; place in crock pot.
    Add vegetables, parsley, and bay leaf. Stir in salt, marjoram, and pepper; place ham bone atop. Add water.
  • 2Cover and cook on low heat setting for 9 to 11 hours.
  • 3Lift ham bone from soup.
    Remove meat from bone; discard bone.
    Return meat to cooker; season to taste.
    Remove bay leaf
