ham and beans
For Christmas we had turkey and a hickory smoked ham. I had about 10 pounds left over. I bought a big ham! Well, I needed to make something out of it, so I decided on ham and beans. Thing is, the meat is salty on its own, so no need to add a lot of salt to the pot. Still, it makes the beans taste so delicious! Also, it’s important to use maple flavored sausage to the pot, 1 pound of it. Your taste buds will dance with joy and excitement when you make a bowl to eat.
