Ingredients
- 1 pound navy beans
- 11 cups boiling water
- 2 teaspoons salt
- - ham hock, smoked
- 3/4 cup carrots, grated
- 3/4 cup finely chopped celery
- 3/4 cup finely chopped onion
- 1 pound canned tomatos
How To Make ham and bean soup

Step 1Combine all ingredients and boil for 2 hours or until tender.

Step 2Remove ham bone and clean all meat off and place in bowl.

Step 3Using a mixer stick or blend in batches. Blend to desired texture. Add ham to soup and simmer for an additional 1/2 hour.

Step 4Serve with vinegar
