  • 3/4 c
    celery diced
  • 2 Tbsp
  • 8 c
    chicken broth
  • 28 oz
    tomato puree can
  • 1/2 tsp
  • 1 tsp
  • 15 oz
    cannellini beans 2 cans
  • 2 c
    ditalini pasta
  • ·
    salt n peper to taste

How to Make Gooseberry Patch Pasta Fagioli


  1. In a stockpot over medium heat, saute onion and celery in butter until onion is transparent.
  2. Add broth, tomato puree and seasoning.
  3. Simmer over low heat for one hour.
  4. Add beans and pasta to soup, heat through.
