Ingredients

  • 10 ounces peas, frozen english
  • 1/4 - lettuce head
  • 3 ounces spinach, fresh
  • 1/2 cup green onions, chopped
  • 2 teaspoons chicken bouillon granules
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 1/4 cups water
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 10 - mint leaves (plus a few for garnish)

How To Make english pea & mint soup

  • Step 1
    Combine English peas, lettuce, spinach, green onions, bouillon granules, chervil, mint and pepper in a large saucepan; stir in water.
  • Step 2
    Cover and bring to a boil; reduce heat, and simmer 20 minutes.
  • Step 3
    Process mixture to saucepan, and stir in milk.
  • Step 4
    Cook over medium heat, stirring frequently, until thoroughly heated.
  • Step 5
    Ladle into bowls and garnish with a few mint leaves.
