Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 c
    chicken broth, plus water to make 2 cups (we don't like it too salty)
  • 1 c
    green split peas, sorted and rinsed
  • 1 c
    carrots and zucchini, small chop
  • 1 c
    ham chunks (i use chopped ham steak)
  • ·
    seasonings to taste

How to Make Easy Crock Pot Split Pea Soup

Step-by-Step

  1. Adjust amounts of veggies and ham to suit your taste.
  2. Mix all ingredients in a medium/small crock pot.
  3. Cook 4 hours high or 8-10 hours low. Makes two LARGE serving or four small servings
