Ingredients
- 1 pound hamburger
- 1 pound rolled jimmy dean sausage
- 1 large sweet white onion chopped
- 1/2 package taco seasoning
- 1 teaspoon coarse black pepper
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon dried red pepper flakes
- 4 ounces can of diced green chilies
- 1 teaspoon chopped garlic
- 6 ounces chopped jarred roasted red bell peppers
- 2 cans campbell's bean and bacon soup
- 1 1/2 cans milk using empty soup can to measure
- jalapenos to taste
- 6 ounces sharp cheddar cheese cubed
How To Make crowd pleasing quick mexican bean soup

Step 1Fry the hamburger, sausage and onions in a large pan until the meat is cooked. Drain and return to the pan.

Step 2Mix in the taco seasoning, salt, pepper and red pepper flakes. Add the chopped green chilies from the can (juice and all) garlic, and the chopped roasted red bell peppers. Mix well on medium low heat.

Step 3Add both cans of bean and bacon soup. Using the can as a measuring device, add one- and one-half cans of milk to the pan. Add the chopped cheddar cheese. Cook on low heat until combined, stirring frequently. Add the jalapenos (to taste, fresh or jarred add slowly until you reach a heat you like.

Step 4Serve with reserved shredded cheddar on top.
