crockpot white beans and ham
This is a great bean soup and a break from pinto beans which is almost a staple here in Texas. I love this served with hot corn bread.

Ingredients
- 1 pound small white beans
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 4 cups water
- 2 teaspoons worcestershire sauce
- 2 cups diced ham
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 2 - ribs celery, diced
- 1 tablespoon garlic, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon old bay seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 - bay leaf
How To Make crockpot white beans and ham

Step 1Rinse and drain the white beans.

Step 2Place beans in the crockpot along with all of the other ingredients.

Step 3Stir to combine, cover and cook on low for 8 to 10 hours or until beans are tender.

Step 4Remove the bay leaf before serving.

Step 5Great when garnished with chopped green onions and hot cornbread.
