This is a great bean soup and a break from pinto beans which is almost a staple here in Texas. I love this served with hot corn bread.

small white beans

chicken broth

water
2 tsp
worcestershire sauce

diced ham
1 medium
onion, chopped

ribs celery, diced
1 Tbsp
garlic, minced
1/2 tsp
old bay seasoning
1/2 tsp
garlic salt
1/2 tsp
black pepper

bay leaf

How to Make Crockpot White Beans and Ham

Step-by-Step

  • 1Rinse and drain the white beans.
  • 2Place beans in the crockpot along with all of the other ingredients.
  • 3Stir to combine, cover and cook on low for 8 to 10 hours or until beans are tender.
  • 4Remove the bay leaf before serving.
  • 5Great when garnished with chopped green onions and hot cornbread.
