This is a great bean soup and a break from pinto beans which is almost a staple here in Texas. I love this served with hot corn bread.

Slow Cooker Crock Pot


  • 1 lb
    small white beans
  • 4 c
    chicken broth
  • 4 c
  • 2 tsp
    worcestershire sauce
  • 2 c
    diced ham
  • 1 medium
    onion, chopped
  • 2
    ribs celery, diced
  • 1 Tbsp
    garlic, minced
  • 1/2 tsp
    old bay seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp
    garlic salt
  • 1/2 tsp
    black pepper
  • 1
    bay leaf

How to Make Crockpot White Beans and Ham


  1. Rinse and drain the white beans.
  2. Place beans in the crockpot along with all of the other ingredients.
  3. Stir to combine, cover and cook on low for 8 to 10 hours or until beans are tender.
  4. Remove the bay leaf before serving.
  5. Great when garnished with chopped green onions and hot cornbread.
