Ingredients

1/4 lb
sliced ham
1 slice
onion
2 can(s)
great northern beans
2 Tbsp
tomato paste
2
potatoes diced
salt, pepper to taste
1/2 tsp
granulated garlic
1 qt
vegetable stock
2 Tbsp
olive oil

How to Make Bean, Potato and Ham Soup

Step-by-Step

  • 1Heat oil in pan.
  • 2Dice ham and put in pot.
  • 3Cut the onion into thin wedges and put in pot
  • 4Cook for about 3-4 minutes
  • 5Add the cannelloni beans liquid and all
  • 6Add the tomato paste
  • 7Pour in the vegetable stock and bring to boil.
  • 8Cut up the potatoes into small pieces and add to the liquid
  • 9Add salt, pepper and garlic
  • 10Simmer about 35-45 minutes until potatoes are soft and tender.
