  • 1/4 lb
    sliced ham
  • 1 slice
  • 2 can(s)
    great northern beans
  • 2 Tbsp
    tomato paste
  • 2
    potatoes diced
  • ·
    salt, pepper to taste
  • 1/2 tsp
    granulated garlic
  • 1 qt
    vegetable stock
  • 2 Tbsp
    olive oil

How to Make Bean, Potato and Ham Soup


  1. Heat oil in pan.
  2. Dice ham and put in pot.
  3. Cut the onion into thin wedges and put in pot
  4. Cook for about 3-4 minutes
  5. Add the cannelloni beans liquid and all
  6. Add the tomato paste
  7. Pour in the vegetable stock and bring to boil.
  8. Cut up the potatoes into small pieces and add to the liquid
  9. Add salt, pepper and garlic
  10. Simmer about 35-45 minutes until potatoes are soft and tender.
