I developed this recipe while shopping for dinner, made it when I got home. My family loved it and this recipe will now be a regular part of our diet. This soup is a rich and filling meal and goes well with cornbread and a salad for a complete lunch or dinner.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb
    cooked and crumbled bacon
  • 1 lb
    ham, cubed into 1/2 in pieces
  • 1 can(s)
    black beans
  • 1 can(s)
    kidney beans
  • 1 can(s)
    chili beans
  • 3 can(s)
    great northern or navy beans
  • 1 c
    chopped celery
  • 1 c
    chopped onion
  • 1 c
    sliced baby carrots
  • 1 can(s)
    cream of chicken soup (10 3/4 oz.)
  • 2 tsp
    garlic powder - adjust to personal taste

How to Make BACON, HAM & BEAN SOUP

Step-by-Step

  1. Place all ingredients into large soup pot with enough water to cover 2 inches over top of ingredients.
  2. Bring to a soft boil and cook for about 1 hour to blend flavors and cook all vegetables.
