Ok now this recipe is a little different. The prep time depends on whether or not you begin soaking your beans in the morning or over night.

salt

onion chopped
1 tsp
chili powder
1/2 c
red wine {optional}
1/4 c
garbanzo beans
1/3 c
blackeye peas
1/3 c
black beans
1/3 c
lentils
2
ham hock, smoked
1 can(s)
hunts fire roasted tomatoes
1 clove
garlic chopped

How to Make 10 Bean & Ham soup

Step-by-Step

  • 1Cover the beans with water to an inch past the beans & 2 tbsp of salt. Let them soak
  • 2After soaking, drain then add 2 qts of water & ham hocks, simmer 3 hours
  • 3Add onion, chili powder, tomatoes, garlic & red wine, simmer another hour
